How Safe to spend works
Safe to spend is what is in your spending accounts, minus bills due before payday and what still has to go to your goals.
Safe to spend at the top of Home is what you can spend until payday without missing a bill or a planned saving.

How it is worked out
Bosla starts with the money in your spending accounts (current accounts and cash), then takes away:
- bills that are not yet paid and fall due before your next payday,
- debt payments due before payday,
- what is still to be put aside for your goals this pay cycle.
What is left is Safe to spend. Bosla also shows About ... a day until ..., which is that amount spread over the days to payday.
What is not counted
- Savings accounts are kept apart, so money you have saved is not spending money.
- Accounts in another currency are left out of Safe to spend.
- Goal money is not moved anywhere. It stays in your accounts; Bosla just keeps it out of Safe to spend.
When you are short
If your bills and savings plan are more than what is in your accounts, Home says so. Look at what is due before payday, lower a goal amount for this cycle, or move money from savings.
Keep it accurate
- Record spending as it happens, or let receipts and bank alerts fill it in.
- Add your regular bills in Plan → Bills.
- If a balance drifts from your bank, open the account and correct it.
