Faith and values: choose what fits your household
Turn zakat, the Islamic finance view and other faith features on or off.
Bosla has features for families who follow Islamic finance. Each household can choose which ones it wants.
Where to find it
Go to Settings › Faith and values. Only an owner of the household can change these.
What you can turn on or off
- Zakat: works out zakat due from your net worth, with the nisab in gold or silver.
- Islamic finance view: Shariah marks on investments, returns called "profit", and interest shown as money to give away.
- Sadaqah wording: calls the giving category "Charity and sadaqah". When off, it's "Charity and giving".
- Interest-free suggestions: Ask Bosla avoids suggesting interest-bearing products.
- Zakat and sadaqah in children's lessons: mentions them in the lesson about giving.
Turning something off only hides it. Nothing you saved is deleted, and you can turn it back on at any time.
